The Boat |
|
The Banana®-boat is made from unsinkable, high-impact resistant plastic, acid -, nitro -, acetone and sea water-steadily, UV-stabilized and nearly everlasting.
The hull is easy to clean and doesn't require a coating or any anti-fouling.
The dimensional stability is reached by the fact that bow and stern approach
pointedly. The result of this is an ideal static form in the submerged hull which doesn't need any struts to withstand the water pressure.
The ability to fold is achived by the use so called "film hinges", protected by curb ribs. The curb ribs are esay to changed after many years of hard use.
The life span of a Banana®-boat have through 30 years of experince shown to be long
